The chocolate and coconut mousse is a delicious and refreshing dessert, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 4 gems

  • 4 egg whites

  • 1 cup of whipped cream

Directions

  • In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, sugar and cocoa powder and place over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the yolks and mix well.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool.
  • Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until stiff.
  • When the coconut milk mixture is cool, add the whipped cream and mix well.
  • Then add the egg whites and gently mix with a spatula.
  • Arrange the mousse in individual bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  • Serve chilled.
