Ingredients
3 eggs
2 cups cornmeal (tea)
1 cup (tea) and 1/2 of sugar
1 cup of milk (tea)
1 can of green corn (without the water)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup (tea) of oil
Icing sugar
Cinnamon powder
Directions
- Start by placing the eggs, green corn, milk, oil, sugar and cornmeal in the blender.
- Cover and beat for 3 minutes.
Add the baking powder and beat just to mix. - Put the dough in a greased shape with butter or margarine and cornmeal.
- Bake the cake for approximately 40 to 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
- Wait for the cake to cool at room temperature, sprinkle icing sugar and cinnamon powder on top (optional) and it can be served.
