The perfect appetizer is guaranteed with this mouthwatering cheese ball recipe!

Ingredients

  • 300 ml of milk

  • 150 ml of water

  • 2 cups (tea) and 1/2 of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

  • 1 meat broth

  • 1 whole egg

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1/2 tablespoon butter or margarine

  • Diced Mozzarella Cheese

  • Breadcrumbs for breading

Directions

  • Add the milk, butter or margarine, water, meat broth and salt to a pan.
  • Take to the fire and when it starts to boil add the wheat flour. 
    Cook for 4 to 5 minutes stirring constantly.
  • Place the dough on a smooth, clean surface or container and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Roll and knead the dough, then form balls and flatten them. 
    Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the middle and shape the balls again.
  • Beat the egg in a plate, add the vinegar and mix well. 
    Dip the balls in the mixture and then in the breadcrumbs.
  • Fry the cheese balls in hot oil until golden, transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels and serve immediately.
