The result of this homemade Nhá Benta is sure to make anyone want to try it!

Ingredients

  • 300 grams of milk chocolate

  • 300 grams of refined sugar

  • 10 grams of unflavored gelatin

  • 1/2 package of Maizena biscuits

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of water

  • 1/4 cup (tea) of water

  • 3 egg whites

  • Vanilla essence to taste

Directions

  • In a pan, place the refined sugar, 1/2 cup of water and mix non-stop over medium heat until it boils and thickens.
  • Hydrate the gelatin with 1/4 cup of water, the vanilla essence and mix well for a few minutes.
  • Beat the egg whites with a hand mixer or mixer on low speed until stiff. 
    Add the gelatine mixture, beat on high speed until it cools down and reserve the marshmallow.
  • Place each cookie on top of the bottom of a cup or mold. 
    Then put a little marshmallow on top of each cookie using a pastry tip and leave them in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave every 30 seconds and pour over the marshmallow cookies. 
    Then leave it in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the dessert when the chocolate is firm and the Nhá Benta units are ready to eat.
