minutesThe garlic bread recipe is simple and easy to make. You can make it at home or buy it ready-made. If you choose to make it at home, simply mix the ingredients in a bowl and spread the paste over the French bread. Then bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
Ingredients
6 French breads
1 small jar of mayonnaise
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon, not too full, of oregano
1/2 cup chopped chives
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Directions
- In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, garlic, oregano, chives, salt and pepper and set aside.
- Make horizontal cuts in the French bread to form small slices (about 4), but without separating them from each other (like with store-bought garlic bread).
- Spread the garlic paste on each slice of bread, being careful not to spill it on the table.
- Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over each bread.
- Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Serve immediately.
