Ingredients

  • 1 cup of tea (200 ml cup) of mimoso cornmeal

  • 1 cup of tea (cup 200 ml) of wheat flour

  • 1 cup of tea (200 ml cup) of sugar

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 teaspoon chemical baking powder

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine at temp. Environment

  • 1/2 cup of tea (200 ml cup) of whole milk (to the point)

Directions

  • In a bowl, add 1 cup of tea (200 ml cup) of mimoso cornmeal;
  • Add 1 cup of tea (200 ml cup) of wheat flour;
  • Add 1 cup of tea (200 ml cup) of sugar;
  • Add 1 pinch of salt;
  • Add 1 teaspoon of chemical baking powder;
  • Mix well;
  • Add 1 egg;
  • Add 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine to temp. Environment;
  • Mix well;
  • Add 1/2 cup of tea (200 ml cup) of whole milk (until the point);
  • Mix until smooth;
  • Add 1 tsp fennel (optional);
  • Grease and flour a mold;
  • Add flattened balls of dough to the pan;
  • Take to preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 30 minutes;
  • Your cornmeal bread is ready!
