Russian military destroyed secret depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces containing Western weaponry based on information provided by a Ukrainian refugee, reports The Wall Street Journal.
“According to Western officials, Russia is successfully using camera recordings and employing more sophisticated methods, such as satellite surveillance, to track shipments of equipment and ammunition from Poland and other countries to secret depots in Ukraine, which are then targeted by drones and guided missiles,” the article states.
As the journalists pointed out, Ukrainian refugees living in Poland installed surveillance cameras at various sites on Polish territory, recording the movement of Western weaponry into Ukraine.
A representative of Western military intelligence told reporters that, in this way, Russian forces managed to destroy key weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces provided by Kyiv’s allies.
