Bitcoin (BTC) often acts as the engine of the Cryptomarkt – and the coin again proved that role in recent weeks. BTC reached a new all-time high of almost $ 112,000 and took countless altcoins in tow, including XRP.

But what happens when Bitcoin continues his advance? How far can XRP rise? Crypto analyst Edoardo Farina is investigating that question in a recent video analysis.

‘XRP offers more opportunities than Bitcoin’

In his analysis, Farina questions the idea that Bitcoin is still the best option for those looking for extreme returns. “Most people can no longer afford a whole bitcoin,” he explains. “And even if the prize is going down five times from $ 112,000, that has little impact on your life – unless you are already wealthy.”

According to Farina, XRP currently offers more opportunities. The coin has been performing remarkably strong in recent months. While Bitcoin climbed to his current peak steadily, XRP rose from $ 0.50 to $ 3.39 – an impressive profit of around 600%. “Anyone who opted for XRP instead of BTC in November has now benefited considerably,” he says.

If he looks ahead, then eight Farina even an XRP rate of $ 100 possible, provided Bitcoin manages to push through to $ 500,000. Such an increase would mean a profit of almost 4,250% for XRP. An investment of $ 23,100 (about 20,000 euros) – good for 10,000 XRP – could in theory grow to no less than $ 1 million.

Is an XRP rate of $ 100 realistic?

Yet such a scenario is doubtful to say the least. With the current circulating stock, an XRP rate of $ 100 would result in a market capitalization of almost $ 5.9 trillion. For comparison: the total value of Bitcoin is currently around $ 2.2 trillion. Even if BTC taps the $ 500,000, the market capitalization ‘only’ comes to around $ 9.9 trillion.

Moreover, it is not at all certain that Bitcoin will reach this price target at all. In the current cycle, analysts such as Tradingshot rather see a peak between $ 150,000 and $ 200,000.
