XRP reaches lowest price in 14 months – Dutch people get free XRP

The crypto market has taken a hard hit and XRP has not been spared. Ripple’s cryptocurrency has fallen to its lowest price in more than a year and according to an analyst, the pain is not over yet. Investors would of course much prefer to see the price move in the other direction, but it does offer the opportunity to buy cheaper.

Bitcoin and XRP are taking a hard hit

This weekend the crypto market completely fell to its knees. Saturday was Bitcoin’s (BTC) worst day since the historic crash of October 10, when billions of euros in leveraged positions were wiped out.

The Bitcoin price reached its lowest point since April last year. All gains since Donald Trump’s election victory in November 2024 have now gone up in smoke. This also applies to XRP.

XRP reached a low of less than 1.27 euros on Saturday, the lowest level since November 24. Ultimately, the week ended with a loss of more than 13 percent. It was the fourth red week in a row.

Of the past 28 weeks, XRP only managed to increase in value for 7 weeks. So 3 out of 4 weeks have ended in the red and that naturally causes a lot of fear within the ‘XRP Army’.

XRP Chart Warns of More Pain

If we look at the dollar chart, we see that the XRP price fell below an important level two weeks ago. Namely the blue line around $1.91.

After that, the price fell by about 21 percent and according to analyst Jesse Olson there is a chance that it will fall even further. He tells his 73,000 followers that he has his sights set on a price of $ 1.11. That would mean a further decline of 32 percent.

What XRP will do depends mainly on Bitcoin. If the largest cryptocurrency can finally rise again after four consecutive red months, then $ 1.91 is an important level to regain.
