While thousands of students and teachers set up a movement that already has national extension, with takeovers of more than 70 faculties, assemblies, public classes and mobilizations against the veto on university financing that the government voted for along with its macrista accomplices and sectors of the Peronism and radicalism, President Milei continues to provoke.

On Tuesday afternoon, he assured that he will once again veto any law approved by Congress that questions his fiscal adjustment policies: “We are going to resist everything that has to be resisted.”

The attack was not only against the public university, but also against retirees: “I am willing to pay all the costs that I have to pay, if I have to veto the retirees, the frauds who defend their jobs through the figure of the universities with big lies, I am going to do it, because my commitment to The fiscal balance is unwavering. That’s how I did it.”

Already this Tuesday morning, during an interview on the channel The Nation+had stated regarding the 2025 Budget that “here is the Budget, tell me how we are going to fix it: I pay the interest on the debt, do whatever you want with the rest.”.

With brutal sincerity, Milei confessed in this way that his only priority is to pay the illegal debt scam to the IMF and private speculators, to the detriment of the budgets for retirees, education, health or salaries.

With his latest statements, he seeks to pass the buck to the National Congress, but always within a framework of adjustment in which neither the mechanisms of looting the country nor the interests of big businessmen are questioned.

Far from all this speculation, on Tuesday afternoon the seizures continued to spread throughout the country. It is necessary to massify the struggle, organize it from the bases and unite with the workers and retirees in a perspective of struggle against the entire Milei plan.
