Although the scene looks innocent and funny for some, others express their concerns on social media. “The future of Ethereum is in the hands of someone who meows to a robot,” wrote influencer Wendy on X.
She is not the only one: other investors also wonder aloud whether trust in Ethereum is not too much rest on the shoulders of an eccentric genius.
The timing of the video does not work in Buterin’s advantage. While he happily meows, the course of Ethereum slides further down.
