Since last night, in massive assemblies, university students decided to take the faculties of Psychology and Philosophy at the UBA. In addition, at the National University of the Arts (UNA), the takeover of the Department of Movement Arts was voted, while an assembly of 160 people in Dramatic Arts resolved to hold a vigil from Tuesday until the mobilization on Wednesday. At the National University of San Luis (UNSL), Block I is also taken.
In this context of growing student mobilization, UNSAM students voted to take over the School of Science and Technology in rejection of President Javier Milei’s veto on the university budget, a measure that threatens the financing of public education throughout the country.
More than 120 UNSAM students participated in the assembly called by the CyT Student Center that decided on the sit-in and vigil.
