United States President Donald Trump said on Tuesday through a publication on the Truth Social platform that the US government has precise knowledge about the location of Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
According to Trump, Khamenei would be an affordable target, but it is not in the immediate plans of the United States to perform a direct attack on him.
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘supreme leader’ is hiding. He’s an easy target, but he’s safe-let’s not get him out of there (kill!), At least not for now,” the former president wrote on the social network.
Trump also indicated growing dissatisfaction with the Iranian stance in the face of US foreign policy, especially regarding the safety of US military and civilians in the region. “But we don’t want missiles to be fired at US civilians or soldiers. Our patience is running out,” he said. Following, he published: “Unconditional surrender.”
The statements were made amid increased tensions between the United States and Iran, after successive episodes of diplomatic and military friction in the Middle East.
