The Mossos d’Esquadra are investigating the violent deaths of two women as a case of gender-based violence. Their bodies were found in a flat in Rubí (Barcelona) and in another in Castellbisbal, where they also found the lifeless body of a man.

The women, who died from gunshot wounds, were the partner and ex-partner of the man who was found dead, who allegedly committed suicide, according to judicial sources.

The presiding judge of the 6th Investigation Unit of Rubí, acting on duty, has led the judicial delegation that is carrying out the removal of the bodies this Tuesday at noon.

Neither of the two murdered women is listed in the system as a previous victim of violence against women.
