
The National Statistics Institute (INE) has reviewed three tenths to the economic growth of 2024, to 3.5 %, especially for domestic demand, while the 2023 has reduced two tenths, up to 2.5 %.
The INE has published this Friday the review of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the period 1995-2024, within the framework of the ordinary review of the national accounts, and establishes as definitive the variation corresponding to the year 2022 and the elevates two tenths, to 6.4%.
These reviews of the series of national accounts for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024 lead to an estimate of annual GDP at current prices of 1,594,330 million euros in 2024, 0.2 % higher than the initially estimated level.
This process is carried out in a coordinated manner with the Bank of Spain (in the financial accounts and the balance of payments and international investment position) and with the general intervention of the State Administration (IGAE), in the accounts of the public administrations.
