The wave of fires that has affects Spain for days does not give truce and continues to spread. The maximum concern is still focused especially in Castilla y León, where two volunteers have died as a result of the burns suffered, and in the province of Ourense, to which a fire is added in Jarilla (Cáceres) that remains uncontrolled. Another 50 -year -old man died on Tuesday in three songs because of the fire. Spain on Thursday night requested a module with two high capacity tank aircraft of more than 5,500 liters each to combat fires in “very difficult” situations that could be derived from the adverse meteorology.

Castilla y León

One of the main foci is in Castilla y León, where there are at least 15 active fires – 12 of them in the Leon province – and with more than 8,000 evacuated in León.
