The Chandrexa de Queixa fire, in Ourense, is already the largest in the history of Galicia since there are records when reaching the 16,000 hectares burned, 5,000 more than that of O Coull in 2022, until now the one that had been burned the most extension. The situation has worsened during the day. After 16.30, 112 Galicia has sent an alarm to mobiles located in about thirty municipalities in the provinces of Ourense and Lugo to ask the population to confine and avoid displacements.

Specifically, they are Oímbra, Cualedro, Monterrei, Laza, Verín, Vilardevós, Riós, A Mezquita, A Gudiña, Viana do Bolo, Vilariño de Conso, A Veiga, O Bolo, Manzaneda, Chandrexa de Queixa, Montederram Vilamartín, Xinzo, Trasmiras, Baltar and Rubiá, in Ourense. In Lugo they are Parada de Sil, Quiroga, Ribas de Sil and Folgoso do Courel.

Suspended trains and affected roads

Adif announced this Friday that the high -speed rail circulation between Madrid and Galicia will continue to suspend, at least, during the first half of Saturday. This decision is adopted after several days of cuts in this line carried out at the request of Firefighters and Civil Protection, and motivated by the fires recorded in Ourense and Zamora.

The A-52 is cut between the qilometers 114 (to mosque) and 129 (to Gudiña), in both directions, while the N-525 is closed in both directions between the caquilometers 118 and 132.

Active fires

At the moment a total of eleven fires are active, specifically those of Airdada-O Sex, with 300 burned hectares and the touches, with 200, in the provinces of Pontevedra and A Coruña, respectively, and both also with situation 2.

In Maceda (Santiso and Castro de Escuadro, which also joined) are 2,500 the hectares affected; while in Oimbra-a Granxa they are already raised to 10,000; In a mosque-a sculqueira, 9,000 hectares and in Vilardevós-Vilar de Cerves, 700 hectares.

In Vilardevós-Moiami are 100; Vilardevós-Fumaces and A Trepa (50), Larouco-Sadur (1,500 hectares) and Muxía-Nosa Lady of the O (20 hectares). Los Fuegos de Ourense-Seixalbo (100 hectares), Montederramo-Parades (120) and Dozón-O Castro (400 hectares) are stabilized and Fonsagrada-Monteseiro (150 hectares), Verín-Mourazos (New hectares) and A Estrada-Souto (20) remain controlled.
