The State Attorney General has been addressed to the president of the General Council of the Judiciary to denounce that the documentation of the Civil Guard transferred by the Supreme and its connections between 2023 and 2024. Álvaro García Ortiz states that the Central Operational Unit has reported calls that were at least one day outside the deadline indicated by the instructor and that, in addition, it has included thousands of data on the connections of his phone to the network that were not necessary for the investigation, which the judge has made available to the parties without any protection.

The Elite Unit of the Civil Guard has delivered this week a report to Judge Ángel Hurtado in the framework of the investigation on whom he communicated, by call, message or email, in the week of March 2024 in which he allegedly leaked The documentation of the fiscal fraud case of the couple of Isabel Díaz Ayuso. The delivered report concludes that, in those days, García Ortiz only spoke with people related to the Prosecutor’s Office and that the only call he received from a journalist on the night of March 13, key to the case, was not even answered by the prosecutor general. He also reveals that he deleted all his WhatsApp messages since October 16 of last year, the day he transpired that the Supreme Court had opened a cause against him.

Judge Hurtado had asked all these data at the beginning of January and the Civil Guard, in addition to a report, has provided the raw material of his information collected in various files that include all their call traffic from the last hours of March 7 until The beginning of the 15th of that month of 2024. The judge also asked to know the IMEI numbers to which he had connected since 2020.

The Attorney General denounced yesterday that the judge had distributed among the parties a documentation of the UCO that includes not only those data but also its postal address in Galicia and that of some of its interlocutors, such as former General Dolores Delgado, a vowel of the Judiciary or even a policeman. A filtration that already investigates the Department of Data Protection of the General Council of the Judiciary.

García Ortiz has been addressed again in writing to the government’s governing body, this time to his president Isabel Perelló, to extend that complaint. One of the annexes, denounces the attorney general, “unjustified an unreasonableness of the active activity of my data and voice of the phone” up to 7,105 occasions. “In short, it covers every minute of telephone use from 7/03/2024 at 23:50 until 03/15/2024 at 00:01:28.”

The UCO report, prepared from this data, also includes “multitude of accessory data, and also relevant to my intimacy or family life absolutely unnecessary for research”. And alludes to another file “with approximately 8,000 records each detailing the connection times of my terminals” from December 2023 to October 2024. “More than ten months”, complains, pointing to the excessive detail about their daily connections to the Red when the judge only asked the IMEI numbers to connect the phone.

“It has been transferred to the parties of approximately 240,000 records of my daily and professional activity.” He explains that he has denouncing this type of errors and leaks of his personal data since January without, for the moment, the judge has taken measures.
