This Thursday, the Labor Court No. 42 accepted the amparo action filed by the Association of Airline Pilots (APLA) regarding the decrees of the Javier Milei government that established the essentiality of the service.

The ruling by Judge Ricardo Hierrezuelo determined an urgent action to suspend the effects of the decrees until the final sentence is issued and considered that the measure requested by the union is “the only effective one” to not limit the possibility of protesting, in the midst of a wage dispute that has been going on for several days.

The workers’ demand is focused on obtaining a salary increase in line with inflation, which has been frozen since November of last year.

The government’s response to the struggle waged by workers in all of the country’s airports is part of the plan of Milei, Sturzenegger, and their necessary accomplices – PRO, Hacemos Coalición Federal, a fraction of Peronism and all the dialoguing sectors – so that everything is done as the government wants, and the working class is disciplined.

However, the aeronautical workers have shown that they have the capacity and the predisposition to win this political fight that the government is proposing because they know that not only their salaries depend on it, but also their jobs, because the plan of emptying and defunding will advance with layoffs no matter what.

In addition to the unity of all the aeronautical unions, the effective commitment of the CGT and the CTA is necessary, as well as the creation of a National Commission in Defense of Aerolíneas Argentinas and its workers, which guarantees a great struggle to win.
