Robert Kiyosaki, the well-known investor and author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, has once again lashed out at the US dollar. In a tweet he writes that dollar savers are “losers” and that he is further expanding his positions in gold, silver, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The end of the US dollar?
“Is this the end of the US dollar? I will keep adding to my positions in gold, silver, Bitcoin and Ethereum. US dollar savers are losers. Be a winner. Take care of yourself,” Kiyosaki said.
Interestingly, Kiyosaki, who is known as an outspoken Bitcoin and gold enthusiast, only rarely mentions Ethereum explicitly. Since 2021, he has only cited Ethereum as a hedge against monetary devaluation a few times. In November 2021, he first called on followers to buy “gold, silver, Bitcoin and Ethereum” before what he called at the time the “biggest crash ever.”
That marked the top for Ethereum at the time.
In June 2024, a new message followed in which, in addition to Bitcoin and Solana, he also added Ethereum to his purchases, at the time linked to his prediction of a $ 350,000 Bitcoin price. The repeated reference to ETH in October 2025, twice in a short period of time, suggests that he now sees the coin more emphatically as a strategic part of a hedge portfolio.
Timing is crucial
The timing of his statements coincides with new records in the markets for so-called ‘hard assets’:
- Bitcoin reached a new all-time high of $125,835 this week.
- Gold broke through the psychological barrier of $4,000 per ounce.
- Silver is creeping towards $50, a level that investors have been waiting for for years.
- Ethereum itself reached its own ATH in August, and has been trading firmly near those peaks ever since.
The combination of high government debts, rising deficits and central banks that are reluctant to raise new interest rates fuels the idea that fiat money will permanently lose purchasing power. For Kiyosaki, that is reason enough to warn his audience again: whoever continues to save in dollars will lose.
