The president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced on Monday a new rental aid with the option to buy housing of almost 30,000 euros for young people. During a meeting with the Socialist Parliamentary Group in Congress, Sánchez has also advanced that the Executive will create a new incentive of 10,800 euros for the purchase of housing in the rural environment and will boost the IMPAGE IMPROACH for rent for young people, which “will serve to give more guarantees to owners and tenants.”
Sanchez has insisted on the executive’s attempts to alleviate the residential crisis that the country is going through, with continuous increases of both rental and purchase prices, which place Spain to the tail of the average age of emancipation of their young people, above 30 years. In the absence of knowing the small print, the president has advanced a “new rental aid with the purchase of almost 30,000 euros” for young people, who can “reside for years in a house with permanent protection and end up acquiring it”.
At the moment, government sources only clarify that the aid will be limited to young people up to 35 years and that will be included in the next state housing plan. In addition, in line with the latest housing policies, aimed at ensuring that the public money invested in this matter blings the park to perpetuity, the aid to purchase will be for official housing, which will maintain this qualification forever.
In addition, the president has informed the Socialist Parliamentary Group that the Government will “implement the IMPAGE OF INCOME FOR YOUNG PEOPLE”, which was announced in the month of January. In reality, that non -payment insurance will be transferred to the autonomous communities and, in practice, it is not a benefit, service or benefit for tenants, since it covers the home of the landlord. In any case, Sánchez has indicated that “it will serve to give more guarantees to owners and tenants.” The measure “will enter into force in this session period,” he said.
Finally, Sánchez has advanced a new help, up to 10,800 euros, for the purchase of housing in the rural environment. A lever with which the government wants to stop the problem of emptied Spain. “This is also fighting depopulation,” said the president, who has pointed out that this tool responds to a claim of “many mayors of the rural environment affected by fires.”
During his speech, Sánchez has valued measures such as the unique window launched by the Ministry of Housing, which will force digital platforms to eliminate more than 50,000 illegal ads of tourist floors, according to data released this Sunday by the department directed by Isabel Rodríguez. At the close of his speech, around one hour, the president has defended that “people deserve to buy a house or rent it, have enough money in the account after paying the rent to save, undertake or dedicate it to something else.”
