Robert Kiyosaki, known for his book “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” has again expressed his growing concerns about the global economy. According to him, we are on the eve of a huge economic crash, possibly the biggest in history.
In a recent tweet, he warns that current strategies by US policymakers are not enough to prevent the looming crisis.
Kiyosaki expects another major crash
“Soft landing or crash landing? I hope I’m wrong, but I’m prepared for the biggest market crash in history,” warns Robert Kiyosaki.
While his message is worrying, Kiyosaki also sees opportunities for those who prepare well. “If I’m right, a crash and subsequent recession will make me and others who are prepared very, very rich,” he says.
This is not the first time Kiyosaki has warned of a massive crash; he has done so regularly. In his recent statements, he has emphasized the potential of Bitcoin (BTC) as a savior in these uncertain times. He no longer sees Bitcoin as just an investment, but as a reliable alternative to traditional money, similar to gold or silver.
According to him, the value of Bitcoin could even rise to $1,000,000 in the near future. But first, if we are to believe him, there will be a crash.
‘Don’t trust politics’
In his tweet, Kiyosaki calls people who trust US authorities “naive.” He specifically points to Kamala Harris, Janet Yellen (head of the US Treasury), and Jerome Powell (chairman of the Federal Reserve).
He calls people who rely on these three to save the American economy “lazy” and urges them to take action themselves and prepare for the coming crash. However, he does not share when exactly this crash will occur.
Kiyosaki faces criticism
While a recession is certainly possible, Kiyosaki’s claims appear unfounded and largely intended to create a sensation. This has earned him some criticism. “You’ve successfully predicted 69 of the last 3 crashes,” one person cynically responded to his tweet.
Another comment read: “You’ve been predicting crashes your entire career. Your words have no value anymore. You just need a new strategy to sell your books.”
Will the economy ever crash? Probably. When that will happen, however, remains uncertain. What is certain is that Robert Kiyosaki will claim that he saw it coming.
