We present a new edition of the LID+ International Network program, led by Josefina Martínez, from Madrid, and Matías Maiello, from Argentina.
In this edition of Red Internacionalwhich from now on will be published weekly, we analyze from different angles what is happening with the war in Iran, which today is at the center of the world situation. What kind of war is it? Where is this war going? We also address the global impact it is having and review the international initiatives against war that are beginning to take shape in several countries. To talk about these issues, in this edition we present two interviews: one with Alex Callinicos, leader of the Socialist Workers Party of the United Kingdom, Marxist intellectual, author of several books, the last one, The new era of catastropheand another with Tariq Ali, Anglo-Pakistani writer, member of the Editorial Board of the New Left Review, and author of The extreme center o Lenin’s dilemmasamong many other books.
