Plaza de Mayo. Interstudent rejects CIN statements and demands third federal educational march

Despite the statements of the CIN, during the afternoon, in Plaza de Mayo, 1,000 students from different universities in CABA and the suburbs, tertiary and secondary, held an inter-faculty assembly. One of the main resolutions that they defined was to promote a mobilization on November 1, from the obelisk to Plaza de Mayo, as part of the plan to fight against the adjustment of Milei and the IMF that adds to the demand for a third federal march.

This assembly takes place in the same week where the Radical and Peronist university authorities made clear their policy towards the negotiation towards the 2025 budget, a budget tailored to the IMF.

The interfaculty assembly was voted on in different assemblies of the universities of CABA and the suburbs and tertiaries. In them, the Peronist and Kirchnerist groups voted in favor of it but in fact, they boycotted the construction of the assembly and never arrived at the Plaza de Mayo.

The role played by the non-grouped and self-convened students in intervening in the assembly, fighting for moderation and democratic functioning, and calling for egos to be put aside in the face of attempts to monopolize the word of some of the groups present, is notable.
