At Lenovo Tech World 2024, Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, shared his vision of a robotics-driven future, stating that the AI ​​revolution could be humanity’s greatest advancement yet. In conversation with Yuanqing Yang, president and CEO of Lenovo, Huang highlighted that the changes brought by AI will be greater for companies than any other previous technological leap, transforming industries, companies and even entire countries.

“The AI ​​revolution will be the greatest industrial revolution we have ever seen,” said Huang. “Over the past 12 months, we have seen an extraordinary awakening across every sector, with every company and country recognizing the power of digital intelligence.”

Computing reinvented

During the event, the two companies announced a hybrid AI partnership and reflected on the major transformations they have experienced in recent decades. Huang mentioned that they have been through the PC, internet and mobile cloud revolution, but now the reinvention of computing is in its broadest form, driven by machine learning running on GPUs. Huang highlighted that while coding created software and a huge industry, machine learning is generating artificial intelligence, where machines can do the work of programmers.

Digital and physical robots

Huang also discussed the evolution of agentic AIwhere digital agents or “information robots” will be able to understand and perform complex tasks autonomously. According to him, these digital agents will work alongside physical robots, laying the foundations for the industries of the future. “These two artificial intelligences will be the backbone of the world’s industries,” Huang said.

Huang reinforced his vision of “AI coworkers,” robots that will perform functions such as marketing and supply chain management, dramatically increasing productivity. “We want to achieve superhuman productivity,” declared Huang, predicting a future where collaboration between humans and AI will transform the global workforce.
