Mar del Plata: The left launches a broad campaign against the government’s labor reform and repudiates Patricia Bullrich’s visit
The campaign also includes the placement of hundreds of posters in strategic points of the city, dissemination activities in the port, the coast and the pedestrian area, distribution of explanatory flyers, traffic lights, stencils and stickers. From the PTS they point out that the objective is to explain why they consider that the labor reform represents an attack on the rights of workers.
The initiative became visible to thousands of people when a small plane with a flag bearing the slogan “No to slave labor reform” flew over the coast of the city from end to end, from Acantilados to Constitución for several days. The images were recorded by tourists and neighbors and quickly went viral on social networks.
According to reports, Mar del Plata was chosen as a key point because it is the country’s main tourist center during the summer, where millions of workers circulate. The campaign seeks to contribute to the construction of a climate of mobilization in view of the treatment of the reform in the Senate, scheduled for February, and demands that the union centers hold an active strike throughout the country, calling to surround Congress that day.
