While the world looks with horror the genocide in Gaza and the voices of international repudiation grow, Argentine president Javier Milei returned to ratify his unconditional support to the state of Israel. This Thursday, in a hotel in New York and within the framework of the UN Assembly, Milei met with Benjamín Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister and main responsible for ethnic cleaning against the Palestinian people, on whom a request for capture of the International Criminal Court for war crimes for war.

Now, the photo with Netanyahu occurs just when other countries of the world advance in the recognition of the Palestinian State, and while port workers, unions and social movements throughout the planet act to block shipments of weapons to Israel or expel Israeli delegations of cultural and sports events. Milei, on the other hand, aligns with the handful of governments that continue to endorse the crimes of the state of Israel.
The state of Israel is doing a systematic genocide in the Gaza Strip, with mass murders, deliberate destruction of civil infrastructure, use of hunger as a weapon of war and forced expulsion. It is a brutal escalation within an ethnic cleaning policy that has been executed today with the guarantee – and the complicity – of the United States and its partners, Milei included. For the Argentine president, the images of boys and girls killed by the shots and bombs of the Israeli army are not an aberration, quite the opposite, they induce him to reaffirm his support for Netanyahu.
In addition to the photo with Netanyahu, Milei received the gold medal of the B’Nai B’rith organization, dedicated to the defense of the state of Israel.
