DWF Labs, a venture capital firm in the crypto space, says in a new institutional report that memecoins represent a “fundamental change” in the way value is created, understood and transmitted.
“What started as a satirical commentary on Bitcoin in the form of Dogecoin evolved into a sophisticated market that is attracting significant capital flows and institutional attention,” DWF Labs said.
A new world?
Basically, DWF Labs says memecoins have changed the investing world forever.
The big question is of course whether that is actually the case. Can you say that after a few years with some small successes? Is there seriously a movement going on here that could last for decades?
It seems too early for that conclusion. To do this, memecoins would first have to survive a severe bear market or recession. So far we haven’t had any, and it’s difficult to make definitive claims about this industry.

According to DWF Labs, memecoins also represent a revolution because it is no longer necessary to market financial assets in the traditional way.
