Since October 7, 2023, more than 52,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to humanitarian organizations, most women and children. The Gaza Strip is besieged, without access to water, food or medical supplies. In recent weeks, the Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu approved a plan to completely occupy Gaza and force the displacement of the Palestinian population, while attacks on the West Bank intensify, where thousands have also been displaced and killed.
This new war crime is sustained by the military, financial and diplomatic support of the United States and the European Union, which has unleashed a wave of global solidarity in universities around the world. Students from the United States, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and other countries have mobilized, occupying faculties and organizing camps in Palestine.
However, these signs of solidarity have not been well received by governments: in the United States, the police violently repressed demonstrations in dozens of universities and arrested hundreds of students. One of the most resonant cases is that of Mohsen Mahdawi, a student arrested for supporting the Palestinian cause. In France, the railway activist and excandidato presidential Anasse Kazib, of Maghreb origin, was persecuted and accused of “apology of terrorism” for his statements in support of Palestine.
In Argentina, the government of Javier Milei aligned openly with the state of Israel, even traveling to Jerusalem to support the massacre, while the judicialization of political references that denounce this genocide begins. Among them, Vanina Biasi and Alejandro Bodart, left -wing leaders, face causes for ruling against barbarism.
Given this scenario, this May 15 (and throughout the week), students from all over the country summon a day of visibility by Palestine with visibility days, activities and artistic interventions in dozens of universities. Adhiring the call of the Argentine Committee in solidarity with the Palestinian people composed of activists of feminist and human rights groups.

77 years after the beginning of the Nakba, the Palestinian cause interpellates all the youth. Because being neutral in front of a genocide is to stand on the oppressor.
