What happened this Saturday in Congress with Javier Milei’s speech are the signs of a government hit by the worst crisis since he assumed. They seek to hide the cryptopharghe by image force. But that imposture was not even so effective.

An empty enclosure. Restriction to the press so that only what the Executive Power wants, a quasi -military police operation on the outskirts of Congress, a transmission of short plans to not show empty benches, the order of the government of “turning off” the raith wants so that the bad chain of Javier Milei is not noticed. These were just some of the postcards of the night. But not the only ones.

The Mileista militancy did not have a good night. In the enclosure there was a cold climate even among his followers. The applause were warm and the presidential speech did not collaborate. In social networks, the libertarian digital militancy could not put a trend in the social network X. To crown, the night ended with a scandal starring the “star advisor” of the president. Santiago Caputo, who has weight in the management of intelligence services, rebuked and threatened Deputy Facundo Manes in the middle of the Congress. “You’re going to meet me,” he said as he “peche.” It was seconded by Fran Fijap who tried to spot the cell phones to the journalists who witnessed the scene so that we do not film. The deputy of Democracy forever was Milei’s target during his speech, and then crossed some shouts with Caputo that was in one of the boxes.

The postcards of the night are completed with the noise of pans against Milei in some Buenos Aires neighborhoods and the province of Buenos Aires.

If the enclosure was empty, it was for the deliberate decision of several blocks that did not want to lend themselves to the presidential staging. The deputies of the Left Front had announced that they were not going to be in the enclosure: a while before the presidential speech left posters in their benches that said “Milei scam and say goodbye.” They denounced that the government uses authoritarian tools to pass a brutal adjustment against the majorities. Then they retired. In the social network X, Nicolás del Caño and Christian Castillo showed with videos the moment.

Union for the homeland also chose not to witness the speech, although some of its deputies heard it from their offices located in the palace. They appeared at the end when the scandal of the threats of Santiago Caputo to Deputy Facundo Manes was known.

Those who were present and had perfect assistance, in addition to their own block of libertarian legislators were the PRO and the UCR. They had Federal Meeting Delegations, the radicals of democracy forever and the civic coalition. Only governors of these spaces were those who said present: Llaryora (Córdoba), Pullaro (Santa Fe), Macri (CABA), Zdero (Chaco), Poggi (San Luis) and Torres (Chubut). But there were just 6 provincial leaders of the 24 in the whole country. They hit the foul to the most allies like Alfredo Cornejo de Mendoza or Rogelio Frigerio between Rios. From the institutional point of view, it was also a failure.

To the right of Milei were the judges of the Supreme Court. The first to arrive was García Mansilla, appointed by decree just at a time where the president has to give explanations for cryptophaf with $ Libra. Then Rosatti, Lorenzetti and Rosenkrantz arrived.

Milei’s speech this Saturday in Congress was off, and left few definitions. The most important announcement was that they will soon send a “new agreement with the IMF” to Congress. It is one of the keys to the Government: having oxygen with fresh funds and/or renegotiation of maturities to arrive positioned to the October electoral dispute. The libertarian president showed his electoral concern in one of the sections of the speech: “I imagine that this area is going to get a little more violet,” he said pointing to the libertarian bench that is very small. It was also a reminder that everything that came out of Congress was due to the collaboration of pro, radical and even union banks for the homeland. Milei highlighted the Base Law that accompanied most of the blocks; “The most successful money laundering in history” and the laws of recidivism, reiterance and “antimaphia” of Bullrich. Both laundering and the repressive package came out with union votes for the country.

Milei was beaten by the cryptogate, having to exaggerate an image of strength that it does not have. Congress is a key support for government and the adjustment of freedom progresses. The next stop will be the new agreement with the IMF that desperately need this election year. Will the caste save Milei again?
