– “Today we maintain the permanent assembly campaign within the company. It is already the eighth day. Last Thursday a hearing at the Ministry of Labor where the company was asked to comply with the conciliation, but the company remains in the negative. On Friday a new hearing, the company does not appear and today there should be a new hearing.”
– “The last three balances presented are good, they are positive. Until December 18 we had been working normally, overtime, everything. What I understand and what many here understand is that this attack prepares the ground for what the labor reform would be. To disorganize what this was, all the achievements we had: having fixed, stable schedules, normal days, because before we worked extended hours, our schedules changed.”
– “We are receiving a lot of support. This weekend there was a festival where a lot of people came, family, well-known friends, social organizations, around 700 people. This also allows us to raise money for the fighting fund, because the truth is it is uncertain if they are going to pay us, if we are going to collect, because since they do not comply with the conciliation, they will not want to pay for the days.”
Gómez assured that there may be news this week and called for solidarity and support for the fighting fund.
