Levi Rietveld: New move could send XRP to $20 in one fell swoop

GTreasury processes trillions of dollars in cross-border payments for multinationals every year. By integrating Ripple’s network and the XRP Ledger, Rietveld expects that a large portion of these transactions will be conducted using XRP. The deal gives Ripple direct access to billions in international financial flows.

Rietveld states that the collaboration with GTreasury significantly increases the use case of XRP. “When GTreasury customers settle their transactions via Ripple, there will be a structural demand for XRP,” the analyst said. XRP is currently trading at around $2.05. An increase to $10 equates to a return of approximately 387 percent. At 20 dollars even at 875 percent.

The predictions are based on the expected use of Ripple’s settlement technology within GTreasury. Rietveld emphasizes that his price targets stem from business application of the technology, rather than speculation.

Strategic access to institutional financial flows

GTreasury serves large enterprises worldwide and offers solutions for liquidity management, payments and compliance. The acquisition, reportedly worth $1 billion, gives Ripple access to an established market of institutional users.

Rietveld calls this an important step for the adoption of XRP within the business community. Through the integration with GTreasury, XRP immediately comes into the picture of parties that move large amounts of capital every day: “These customers need speed, security and low transaction costs. Ripple can deliver this with XRP as a settlement asset.”

According to Rietveld, the link between XRP and real business needs enables solid value growth. He expects the coin to reach a value between $10 and $20 by 2027, based on measurable network activity.
