Three Argentines are still detained illegally in a prison in the Negev desert after the interception, by the Israeli forces in international waters, of the humanitarian flotilla that carried food and medicines to the Palestinian people.

Currently, in that situation are the deputy partner of the Left Front Celeste Fierro, the former provincial deputy of FIT Córdoba, Ezequiel Peressini, and fellow Carlos Bértola, son of disappeared. I highlight their quality of legislated because, among the hundreds of kidnapped, there are deputies and deputies from different parts of the world who joined this mission, such as deputy Luizianne Lins (PT/EC) or political representatives such as former mayor Ada Colau.
My partner Bruno Gilga, from the newspaper Network on the Left Diario Brazil, was also kidnapped and was imprisoned.

Our concern is extreme because, to illegal kidnapping and transfer to an Israeli prison, the news of the torture they are receiving was added. In some cases, they had almost 40 hours without drinking water or receiving any food. This is one more violation of the most elementary international norms of human rights and humanitarian law, which protects civil missions and humanitarian aid.
The state that commits a genocide thus treats those who play their lives to help the attacked people.

In recent days, mobilizations were multiplied worldwide claiming for the freedom of the members of the flotilla. The peoples of the world rise against colonialism and genocide.

In Italy a general strike was made, with mobilizations in 100 cities and more than two million people in the street. At the University of Barcelona, students blocked accesses to get an educational strike. In the Athletic Bilbao stadium, before starting the match against Mallorca, the stands became a space of solidarity with Palestine; A blunt message was projected on the stadium screens: “Athletic by Palestine. Alto the genocide!”

On Tuesday 7 we will march again in Buenos Aires. Because there are no excuses to remain silent or to avoid testimony in difficult times, there we will be.

We demand that the Government of Israel free them immediately, the cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment on them cease and that the Argentine State is pronounced urgently in this regard.
