Shortly after 6 p.m. the event of the Left Front Unity began, to close the 2025 electoral campaign. Myriam Bregman, Nicolás del Caño, Christian Castillo, Juan Carlos Giordano, Cele Fierro, Romina del Plá, Gabriel Solano and Ana Paredes Landman, among other representatives of the Left Front, will speak. Companions from Vientos del Pueblo-Marabunta will also greet you.

Now, more left-wing deputies.

Romina del Plá, from PO-FITU, was the first to speak. She went on stage accompanied by Eduardo Beliboni, Alejandro Lipcovich and Nora Biaggio, among other representatives of the Polo Obrero and the CSC.

The second to speak was Ana Paredes, councilor for La Matanza of the MST, who took the stage accompanied by Vilma Ripoll, Alejandro Bodart, among others and members of Jubilades de Izquierda.

Later Juan Carlos Giordano, deputy of the Socialist Left, spoke. He went up accompanied by Mónica Schlottauer, Pablo Almeida, Ezequiel Peressini, among others.

When it was Nicolás del Caño’s turn, he went up accompanied by an important delegation of members of the Movement of Classist Groups, En Clave Roja and Jubilades of the PTS. These are Javier Poke Hermosilla (Mondelez), Barbara Acevedo (Garrahan), Laura Cano (CICOP), Karen Leguizamón (Asamblea Guernica), Ariel Moreno (Secco), Pablo Placerini (Scell), Eduardo Ayala (MadyGraf), Nathalia González Seligra (Teachers), Ariel Sommer (FFCC Roca), Calu Ferde (Jubilades PTS), Elizabeth González (Georgalos), Lourdes Olivero (En Clave Roja).

Nicolás del Caño called to win seats in Congress. “We are the only bloc that did not vote for Milei’s laws. We are in front of the Embassy because the FITU’s anti-imperialism is not chamuyo. We are with that cry that travels the world, for a Free Palestine, from the sky to the sea.”

“We are the only force that can say coherently that it is going to fight to not be another star on the Yankee flag,” said the PTS-FITU deputy. He then called for the general strike in Italy and other European countries.

Del Caño claimed the potential of the working class to paralyze and transform the country, denouncing the surrendering role of the CGT.

Later came the greeting from the members of Vientos del Pueblo, which has joined the lists of the Unidad Left Front.

Celeste Fierro (MST) referred to the feat of the flotilla against the genocide in Palestine, in which she participated. “Yankees out of Argentina and Yankees out of Palestine.” “We accompany every struggle. We must make the Left Front bigger to break with the IMF and kick out the Yankees.”

Christian Castillo began by recounting the latest struggles that faced the Milei adjustment: Disability, the Garrahan and the universities, which today face the provocation of the government that does not regulate the laws.

“The resistance and repudiation of the genocide in Palestine have generated one of the largest strikes in recent years, 2 and a half million protesters in Italy.” He also highlighted the mobilizations against Trump, shouting “No King.”

Castillo criticized the attitude of the rest of the Parliament blocks in the face of this genocide. “The left was in the flotilla, like Cele Fierro and Gringo Giordano, our comrades Luca Bonfante and Patricio del Corro in the Egyptian caravan, Biassi is being prosecuted and Bodart was there, just as they have persecuted Federico Puy.”

And he added: “He who does not have the courage to face a genocide, how will he have the courage to face the mandate of the IMF?”

Castillo, already with the rain in the Buenos Aires sky, closed by stating that “the government is preparing a pact, with the governors, there we saw Kicillof paying tribute to Rucci with the CGT. We militate in every factory, neighborhood and university, to build a great party of workers, so that they govern and eradicate capitalism from the planet.”

Mercedes de Mendieta, from the Socialist Left, said that “we repudiate femicides and transfemicides, while others say that we missed three towns. We are going to respond to all hate speech in the streets.”

Gabriel Solano also vindicated the left’s struggle in support of the Palestinian people, along with millions around the world. And he highlighted the role he has been playing in the mobilizations. “The way out is the class struggle and we need your votes because we are the only ones in the streets. I wonder, where is the CGT?”

Bregman began by thanking the militancy, the intellectuals, artists, workers, activists of feminism and diversities.

“We began to give answers on the street that the CGT did not give, that the opposition did not give. Together with the disability group, the universities, those facing layoffs.”

Bregman vindicated the fight of ILVA, those who fight for their reincorporation like Shell, Secco and Georgalos. “The rights of the working class are law, because they are achievements.”

“No one wants to talk about women’s rights. It is not talked about anymore. And in the midst of that hypocritical campaign we have had to fight again against femicides.” “We are socialist feminists, we know that patriarchy in capitalism is not going to end, as Alberto Fernández said.”

“La Libertad Avanza and Fuerza Patria are the forces that have had the fewest women heading lists, and the Left Front is the only force that has the possibility of putting feminists in Congress.”
