The delegate of the Government of the Junta de Andalucía in Malaga, Patricia Navarro, conveyed this Saturday a message of “tranquility, prudence and confidence” in the emergency operations that work in a coordinated manner in the province in the face of the effects of the train of storms that is especially affecting the Serranía de Ronda and the Guadiaro Valley.

Navarro has asked citizens to follow the recommendations of the emergency services at all times, avoid approaching river beds, closed roads and flood zones, and check the state of the roads before moving.
He also recalled that in the event of any incident, the emergency telephone number 112 should be contacted, and he thanked the efforts of all the professionals who make up the device, “who are working tirelessly and with a high level of coordination.”
According to the State Meteorological Agency, the province of Malaga, and especially the Serranía de Ronda, maintains the orange warning for rain until 7:00 p.m.; It will later go to a yellow warning during the night and early morning, with a new storm forecast starting Monday.
