Israel states preparation for direct military confrontation with Iran

The Israeli government has stated that it was ready to face any direct military confrontation against Iran. The information was released by Dmitry Gendelman, advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office in an interview with Russian Tass.

According to the report, Gendelman was asked about the possibility of a conflict between the two countries and replied: “Israel is prepared for any event.”

Gendelman stressed that the country operates independently in its defense and attack strategy. “Israel, first of all, trusts in their own forces and military capabilities, both in defense and in attack,” said the advisor, maintaining focus on the self -sufficiency of Israel’s defense forces.

In the early hours of Friday, 13, Israel announced the launch of “preventive attacks” against the Iranian territory and declared a state of national emergency. Reports indicate that several explosions were heard in Tehran. To date, there is no official confirmation of the Iranian authority about the reach of damage or eventual victims.

Israel’s military sources reported that the operation involved more than 200 fighters and the shooting of 330 ammunition.
