Bahía Blanca crosses today the “day later” of the tremendous flood that hit the entire area since Friday morning. So far there are at least 13 dead people, more than 1,000 evacuees and families that permanently still isolated, because the water did not fall enough so that they can leave, and many missing people, including a one -year -old baby and their 5 -year -old sister.
Within the framework of such a context, Patricia Bullrich, Minister of Security, and Luis Petri, Minister of Defense, toured part of the affected areas and wanted to take pictures with the neighbors from the place that not only did not leave them, but they threw them.

The porvincial and national state, and its officials are also responsible. In particular, Bahia Blanca had already suffered a storm in December 2023 and yet the necessary works were not done to prevent something similar from happening again.
Instead of taking pictures, what officials have to do is ensure that all the necessary resources are allocated to attend to all the affected families that are losing everything. An emergency plan is urgent that guarantees that they can repair the damage of the storm at zero cost for the thousands of affected.
