Inflation in November was 2.4%, according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published this Wednesday by Indec and in the first eleven months of the year it accumulated an increase of 112%. On a year-on-year basis, inflation rose to 166%.
According to the Indec report, “the division with the greatest increase in the month was Education (5.1%), followed by Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (4.5%) due to increases in Housing Rental and related expenses; Water supply; and Electricity, gas and other fuels.” That is, the high rates and the increase in rents continue to impact prices and increase the cost of living.
