The workers and delegates of Lustramax are fighting to defend our jobs, salaries and working conditions, in the face of repeated abuses by the company, which, far from responding to our claims, deepens the conflict.
We publicly denounce that Lustramax does not comply with the mandatory conciliation dictated by the Ministry of Labor of the Province of Buenos Aires, ignoring the labor authority and moving illegally against the workers. In this framework, the company fired union delegates, in a clear attempt at discipline, union persecution and attack on collective organization, as is intended to be done with the widespread labor reform.
Likewise, we affirm that the company is not going through any economic crisis that justifies layoffs or adjustments. These measures respond exclusively to an employer policy of precariousness, curtailment of rights and attack on union representation.
For weeks we have been organizing collectively, maintaining a permanent assembly in the company, carrying out measures of force and making the conflict visible. In this framework, two Panamericana outages were held, which had great impact at the national level and had broad support from the population, demonstrating that this claim is fair and legitimate.
For all this, we call on all labor, student, social and solidarity organizations to participate in a solidarity meeting at the factory door, United States 4545, El Triangle Industrial Park, Tortuguitas at 5:30 p.m. today, January 14, to strengthen this fight, coordinate actions and surround our fight with support.
Class solidarity is a fundamental tool to confront adjustment and attacks on labor rights, such as the labor reform promoted by the Milei government.
If they touch one, they touch us all.
