The UCR block in the Senate released a statement announcing that it “achieved” the Government’s “commitment to the financing of universities.” But the reality is that the budget item that would arrive is only for basic operation, nothing for salaries of the university’s teachers and non-teachers. Nor for the area of science and technology. In other words, they were sold for crumbs.

The government of Javier Milei, which felt the blow of the massive national university march, found its best ally in radicalism to stop the movement, surely in exchange for continuing to negotiate votes in the Senate for the approval of the Bases Law.

As if that were not enough, the UBA authorities “cut themselves off.” The other 60 study houses… well, thank you. The demand continues for the State to transfer the money for the operation and teaching of classes.
VERY SERIOUS ⚠️
The same Deputies who did not come down to provide a quorum for the university budget to be discussed in Congress negotiated behind the backs of the million people that we mobilized on April 23. They delivered to teachers and non-teachers, among other things. For a few crumbs. https://t.co/jstDx58Ubs

That explains why your deputies Tavela, Carrizo and Coletta voted for the basic law. We are not going to forget about you: you sell the country, you promote every man for himself and screw the teachers by using OUR mobilization to negotiate
Let there be a strike the day the law is discussed https://t.co/NZ77awhN5N
