This Tuesday Rosita returned to work during her usual night shift. It was not just another day, but a special day. Rosa Oviedo was reinstated after a discriminatory and anti-union dismissal, as defined by the National Court of First Instance No. 46. This Tuesday she arrived accompanied by her dismissed and non-dismissed colleagues, effective aeronautical workers, her internal commission, her lawyers from CeProDH and solidarity organizations.
After months of organization and struggle, this reincorporation makes it clear that fighting pays off. “We know it was a long and difficult fight, but this is the first step to continue with everything else”said Rosita, one of the undisputed activists of the GPS aeronautical women’s commission, always at the forefront for herself and for everyone. This return to work gives strength to continue developing the organization for the reinstatement of all and this collective struggle shows a way to confront the privatization or dismantling attempt of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
The lawyers representing those dismissed, members of CeProDH (Center of Professionals for Human Rights), explained the scope of the ruling on their social networks.
