
On Wednesday (10), the FBI published on social networks two images of a young man who suspect having participated in the murder of the far-right influencer of the United States Charlie Kirk. The photos were released by the American secret service branch in Salt Lake City, where he was killed.
The agency did not disclose any other information from the suspect and asked that if anyone has information about him, who communicates to the FBI. The image was also later released by the Utah Public Security Department.
FBI agent Roberto Bohles, at a press conference, also stated that the weapon that may have been used to shoot the influencer was found by the police, being a high -power bolt rifle.
‘That rifle was recovered in a forest area where the shooter had fled. The FBI lab will analyze this weapon, ‘said Bohles.
Beau Mason, a commissioner of the Department of Public Security, said he monitored the young man and all his movements on the campus during that day, even finding images when he runs away from a building out of the university.
‘We have a good video of this individual. We will not disclose it at this time. We are working on some technologies and ways to identify it, ‘said Mason.
A few hours after the episode, Utah’s state police said they had arrested a suspect. Then, in another statement, he revealed that two men were arrested, one of them interrogated, but both were released by the authorities.
