It is Sunday and that is noticeable on the cryptomarket. There is less action and little exciting happens with the rates. Nevertheless, Ethereum (ETH) continues to gain quiet terrain opposite Bitcoin (BTC), while the latter fights with the wall at $ 115,000. For many other coins, the day is only stuff.
ETH is increasing while BTC is falling
After almost four years, Ethereum (ETH) finally broke through to a new price record, but then clearly needed some time to catch your breath. The largest Altcoin tapped a peak of around $ 4,890, but then dropped back below $ 4,800 and lingered there almost the entire weekend. Today, however, ETH seems to have found new energy again.
In the night, just above $ 4,800 was looked at, and since then the race has been balancing just below this level. That means that a new historic highlight is very close again. Ethereum is currently 0.53 percent higher than a day ago, around $ 4,765. This does ETH a lot better than Bitcoin, which was precisely 0.70 percent.
The ETH/BTC graph (where ETH’s price is expressed in BTC) has even risen to the highest point since September 2024. Since the soil in May, ETH has already won 130 percent compared to the number one. However, the course is now approaching a strong resistance, which can cause the necessary problems.
Nevertheless, the long -term downward trend is convincingly broken on the monthly graph. So there seems to be more in the barrel for Ethereum, which is also very good news for the rest of the altcoin market.
In the meantime, Bitcoin continues to struggle with the zone around $ 115,000. But the big test awaits around $ 116,000. Bitcoin has failed here on Friday, but perhaps it will get a new chance next week.
XRP, Dogecoin and Cardano slide out
The rest of the cryptomarkt turns red. Ripple (XRP) has fallen 0.97 percent, Dogecoin (Doge) 2.52 percent and cardano (ADA) even by 3.05 percent. Solana (SOL) is on a modest profit of 0.52 percent.
The biggest losers from the Top 100 are Memecoin SPX6900 (SPX) and OKB (OKB), the coin of Cryptobeurs OKX, both of which have lost slightly less than 10 percent.
