They were wrong and they will be wrong now,” said the Minister of Labor and leader of adding in the government coalition, which has argued that the measure “will be moved.”
April is usually a good month for the labor market, with increases in employment and a reduction in unemployment, especially when the celebration of Holy Week coincides, as has happened this year. In total, social security affiliation stood at 21,588,639 people working on average, a fact never reached before. The previous maximum, of June last year, in which the 21.4 million sharp.
The thrust of employment is the second largest for one month of April, after the one registered in 2023, “and the fourth largest intermencing rise since 2012,” says Social Security. The last March was 23,079 people. Thus, a historical record of people is also reached by working according to the desestationalized series, of 21.55 million affiliated people.
“This means that even removing the effect of Holy Week, which has also been a especially rainy week in our country, we continue to reach records,” celebrated the Minister of Social Security, Elma Saiz. “These data show us that we are on the right track,” said Saiz, who has also stressed that the 3.4 million autonomous people affiliated with Social Security have been exceeded, after adding almost 13,000 autonomous workers to the recaate in April.

They told us that it was impossible to end temporality and we have achieved it,” Yolanda Díaz said in reference to the labor reform, after which temporary work has been reduced to historical minimums.
In April, temporary work remains at 11.9%, reports Social Security. “On the average of 2017 to 2021, this percentage amounted to 29.5% (just before the reform, in December 2021 it was 27.9%),” says the Ministry of Elma Saiz.
