Crypto fund Icoinic now continues as Coinmerce Capital

After the acquisition by Coinmerce, Icoinic will now continue as Coinmerce Capital. The first crypto investment fund in the Netherlands was founded in 2017 with the aim of making crypto more accessible to wealthy investors. In March it was announced that Icoinic and Coinmerce are joining forces to become a unique player in the market to serve private, private and institutional customers as a brokerage and fund management in one. Icoinic will continue as Coinmerce Capital after full integration.

As the oldest crypto fund, Icoinic was known for its strong position in the Dutch crypto market. Thanks to the choice of several investment funds with different risk profiles, customers could decide for themselves which fund they wanted to invest in. With the transition to the much larger Coinmerce team, the crypto asset manager says it can significantly expand and optimize the funds. “Our mission is to make crypto investments as accessible as possible,” says Jaap de Bruijn, CEO of Coinmerce. “We aim to reduce the entry fee from 100,000 soon. This way, our Coinmerce customers can also participate in crypto funds.”

Unique proposition

Thanks to the unique combination of brokerage services and fund management, Coinmerce Capital is the only party that can allow their customers to trade and invest flexibly in crypto. This way, as an investor you can choose which method of investing suits you best; buy and sell crypto yourself or participate in a managed crypto fund for a long time, all within the same party.

Launch of new fund

To herald this new era, Coinmerce Capital is organizing an exclusive event in Amsterdam on May 24, at which a new fund will also be launched. New and loyal customers are welcome to toast a bright future together. Various speakers, including Jasper Verwaal (Deloitte), Wilhelm Roth (CEO Coinmerce Capital) and Jaap de Bruijn himself, will explain more about the opportunities in the crypto market, in which Coinmerce is determined to be the leading leader in crypto asset management.

Icoinic is registered with the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets. In addition, Coinmerce is registered with the De Nederlandsche Bank, Autorité des marchés financiers and Banco de España.
