Crypto Analyst Predicts: XRP Price Could Rise to $17

According to popular crypto analyst EGRAG Crypto, the XRP price could experience an explosive price increase. Based on a technical analysis shared on social media platform X, he concludes that XRP could rise to $17 in an extremely bullish scenario. This would far surpass the previous all-time high of $3.40 and make XRP one of the largest coins on the crypto market.

XRP Price at $17: Realistic or Too Optimistic?

Currently, the XRP price is relatively low at $0.463. Although the altcoin has risen slightly in the past 24 hours, the price performance of XRP remains disappointing according to many investors. In the past three months, the price has fallen considerably.

However, according to EGRAG, the XRP price is poised for a breakout. Based on his technical analysis, the trader has set several price targets, including $17 in a bullish scenario. This would represent almost a 40x price increase from current levels and would see the altcoin finally break through its all-time high of $3.40 that has been in place since 2018.

Whether this price prediction is realistic, however, is questionable. An XRP price of $17 would bring the coin’s market cap to almost $950 billion, which is almost three times the current value of Ethereum (ETH).

A more moderate price prediction

The analyst also gives a more nuanced price prediction. In a moderate scenario, he expects the XRP price to rise to $1.80. While this is lower than the all-time high, it is still an impressive rally with an increase of around 310% from the current price.

However, EGRAG notes that the $1 price level provides strong resistance for an XRP rally and we can expect some slowdown around that level.
