XRP moved most of 2024 sideways, but started an impressive Bullrun in November. Although 2025 started promising, a correction followed later. Today, however, the positive sentiment seems completely back. The price has risen by more than 12% in the last 24 hours.
This revival comes after the news that Nasdaq recently submitted an official application to the SEC for an XRP ETF. XRP is currently being traded around $ 2.74.
Powerful outbreak for XRP?
The popular analyst Ali Martinez is also optimistic about XRP. He points to a striking technical pattern: a symmetrical triangle.
This pattern indicates a consolidation phase in which buyers and sellers are in balance. According to Martinez, this triangle has been around for quite some time, possibly since the peak in 2018. Although the pattern itself does not indicate a clear direction, an outbreak above or under the coincidental trend lines can initiate a strong price movement.
When determining a target target, the ‘height’ of the triangle is added to the point of outbreak from the start of the pattern. For XRP this comes to a purpose of around $ 15, which amounts to an increase of more than 512% compared to the current rate.
If this scenario is taking place, the price would even be almost 370% above the previous record of $ 3.20 (reached on January 18). However, Martinez does not give an indication of when a breakthrough can take place.

The recent ETF applications from both Nasdaq and Grayscale are without a doubt fantastic news for XRP. Although they are only applications at the moment, many analysts highly estimate that they will eventually be approved.
