Crucial week for AEX Koers: Does the Bullmarkt stand up?

The AEX Koers is going through another volatile period in 2025. In February the AEX rose to an all-time high of 950 points, but shortly thereafter in March the stock market recorded 890 points. In that period the AEX therefore saw a solid correction. In the meantime, the AEX is recovering and there is another course of 914 points on the signs.

Important support for the AEX

At the level of 903 points we find an important support for the AEX. That is because there is the 50-week average of the race, and the stock market index still found support at the beginning of March.

Although the race went down in the midweek, the trade week always finished above that limit. That is important, because in general this average is an important price limit to determine whether there is still a bull market.

If the AEX gets far below this line, it can herald the start of a bear market. Certainly if the 100-week average also died after that. However, there is still enough play for that, because it is currently at 841 points.

Big week next?

This week can sometimes be very interesting. In recent days, the financial markets seemed to recover from the volatile period since the start of Donald Trump as president of the United States.

Also because Trump seems to be taking a somewhat more flexible attitude with regard to import duties (his trade war). In addition, there are also signals that the fear of the weakening of the US economy is still somewhat exaggerated.

So it is possible that the AEX and the financial markets can continue the positive momentum that we saw recently. Bitcoin has also started the new week strongly with a course of more than 86,000 dollars.

That is not yet the level at which Bitcoin stood, but it is starting to look like something again.
