Starting at noon this Wednesday, the preparatory session was held in which the elected deputies who will take office starting next December 10 were sworn in.

The main media outlets highlighted the interventions of the left-wing deputies who assumed their seats for the FITU. Nicolás del Caño, Myriam Bregman and Romina del Pla swore an oath after saying speeches that vindicated the retirees, the workers, the 30 thousand disappeared and denounced the Government’s repression and imperialist interference of the United States in Venezuela and Latin America.

The impact also reached social networkswhere the publications of the swearing-in speeches of the FITU deputies were replicated and received tens of thousands of likes each: Nicolás del Caño more than 40 thousand and Myriam Bregman more than 70 thousand likes.

Of the 127 deputies who assumed their seats, Nicolás del Caño was the first to swear: “For our retirees, who face this repressive government, for the disability and health community and their brave struggle. For the girls and boys massacred in Gaza, and a free Palestine, Trump out of Venezuela and Latin America, for the working class of Argentina and the world and for socialism, I swear.”

But the mention of those causes It made the “libertarians” in the room nervous and Lilia Lemoine, who was strategically placed to be able to insult and provoke whoever she wanted. But far from being able to silence Del Caño’s speech, the deputy raised his voice even more and dedicated the speech to Lemoine and the rest of the far-right chorus.

The newspaper La Nación reflected it like this: “After speaking out in defense of the retirees, “the disability group, the girls and boys massacred in Gaza” and against the intervention of the United States in Venezuela, Del Caño pointed at the libertarian and shouted: “Take it, take it!”

For your part Page12 He noted in one of his notes about the session: “Nicolás del Caño, first to take the stage, unleashed libertarian fury by giving a speech that generated immediate reactions from different blocks. But in particular, the one who gave the note was Lilia Lemoine, the representative of La Libertad Avanza, who is already used to carrying out regrettable events on the premises.”

After the swearing in of Del Plá and Del Caño, it was Myriam Bregman’s turn. ‘La Rusa’ swore “for those who do not remain silent despite the boos and the repressors, for the 30,000 detainees-disappeared, against the deniers, not one step back. For the anti-imperialist struggle, outside the Yankees of Venezuela and Latin America. For the rights of women and sexual dissidence, for socialism and against the genocide in Palestine.

As expected, Lemoine repeated his assigned modus operandi of shouting, insulting and provoking the legislator elected by the City of Buenos Aires. But Myriam, with whistles from the ultra-rightists in the background, generated a wave of applause when she ordered the libertarian to shut up.

Clarín described that “The deputy of the Left Front was sent with an extensive oath that ended with a request to the presidency regarding the attitudes and cries of Lilia Lemoine, who had already had a conflict when the deputies of the left were sworn in for the Province of Buenos Aires. “Let this lady shut her mouth because the truth has us tired, Mr. President,” Bregman concluded his oath while pointing to his LLA counterpart, who responded to the shouts from his bench.

Meanwhile, La Nación reported that “Myriam Bregman’s oath did not escape the rarefied climate either. The FIT representative maintained the same line and ratified her commitment “for the 30,000 missing detainees” and “against denialism.” She also added definitions on international politics: “Yankees out of Venezuela and Latin America!” (…) “Let this lady SHUT HER MOUTH, because the truth has us TIRED”

Other media such as Infobae or Uncoversimilarly reflected these facts during the session. The impact of the oaths of the FITU legislators also reached streaming and radio channels, such as Radio with You and Futurock.

Although Lemoine dedicated himself to shouting at several deputies who are in opposition blocs, his tension was mainly placed on the FITU deputies.who made speeches that infuriated and “outed” her. Perhaps it is clear to you that It is that bench that will not stop denouncing the adjustment that the “libertarian” Government is preparing and that part of the so-called opposition is prepared to support.

The adjustment to retirees, health, memory for the 30 thousand comrades, labor reform or the handing over of sovereignty to the United States, are issues that the ruling party does not want to be expressed on the premises, but that the left, just as it has done so far in the LLA mandate, will not stop carrying and denouncing.
