While the cryptomarkt loses ground, XRP also has a blow with a decrease of 6.5% in a week. Yet analyst Edoardo Farina sees opportunities. He even sold his car to buy 10,000 XRP – a daring step that he says he should make a millionaire in the long term.
Those 10,000 XRP now cost around $ 21,400. According to Farina, that is a bargain, because he expects XRP to reach its old $ 3.40 record soon. In that case his investment would already rise to $ 34,000. But his real goal is much higher: he believes that XRP can be worth $ 100 in the future. If that happens, his daring move is suddenly worth $ 1 million.
‘No happiness, but dare and tenacity
According to Farina, people will later say that XRP investors were simply lucky. But according to him it is not about coincidence, but about courage and tenacity – especially during periods in which trust in XRP is hard to find. Farina refers to investors who bought XRP when it was still worth $ 0.003. Many of them have now made considerable profits.
Is a course of $ 100 realistic?
That XRP can rise further in the future is certainly not excluded. But a course of $ 100 is extremely ambitious. At such a price, the total market capitalization of XRP would be around $ 5.8 trillion. For comparison: Bitcoin, the largest crypto coin, currently has a market value of around $ 2 trillion. The entire cryptomarkt together is now worth around $ 3.35 trillion.
In other words: for XRP to reach $ 100, it should not only strive Bitcoin, but should even become larger than the entire cryptomarkt at the moment. That makes such a scenario – at least in the short term – very unlikely.
